RATS- FOOD HEALTH AND SAFETY HELP!!!?

I was visiting a private club last night and had two sightings of rats. One in the toilet and the other in a empty room usually used as a cloakroom.
The club not only serves alcohol but also food on a regular basis. Once I mentioned what i saw, and other people having seen it I was asked to keep quiet and not to mention anything so they could sort it out privately. I find this appalling and the people who are in charge aren't the nicest of people anyway, I doubt anything will be getting done. Who do I get in touch with about this? My local Council or is there some board of Health and Safety out there for this sort of thing.
I just find i completely terrible that they wanted this hushed up.

Ok so, I weigh 120 and am about 5 4 im 19 yrs old female and I eat eat eat! I love food but I never gain that much weight I either slide down a few pounds or up so im usually 110-120lbs. Im pretty slim however my concern is when I get older. Should I be worried of health issues and weight gain when I am in my 40's?
My family is pretty average weight but they do not eat as much as I do.
I dont have a strict diet I don't eat breakfast much(i dont think that plays any role in anything) my workout is walking I love to walk and play sports but im not lifting weights or anything yet
